Our forensic immigration psychological evaluations provide a comprehensive, objective assessment and a professionally prepared report that may be submitted to an immigration attorney and included as supporting documentation in an immigration matter.

Standard Forensic Psychological Evaluation
$1,400 - Standard forensic psychological evaluation
Our standard evaluation is appropriate for most immigration cases and includes:

1–3 clinical interview sessions

Approximately 2–4 total hours of clinical interviewing

Comprehensive psychosocial and mental health history
-
Assessment of trauma, abuse, hardship, and current psychological symptoms

Standardized psychological screening measures, when clinically appropriate

Review of relevant supporting documentation

DSM-5-TR diagnostic impressions, when clinically supported

Comprehensive written forensic psychological report
The final report integrates the clinical findings and, when appropriate, discusses the relationship between the individual’s experiences, psychological symptoms, functioning, diagnoses, and prognosis.
Comprehensive Evaluation + Specialized Psychological Testing
$1,800 - Comprehensive forensic psychological evaluation + specialized testing (Conducted by a Licensed Psychologist)
Some cases benefit from more extensive psychological testing. When clinically or forensically appropriate, specialized psychological assessment may be incorporated into the evaluation.

Other specialized psychological instruments based on the needs of the case
This service includes administration, scoring, interpretation, and integration of relevant testing results into the final forensic report.
Additional fees may apply when a case requires extensive testing, unusually large record review, additional interviews, consultation, or other services beyond the standard scope of the evaluation.
What to Expect
1. Clinical Interview
Most evaluations involve 1–3 sessions and approximately 2–4 hours of total clinical interviewing.
Depending on the type of immigration case, we may explore family and developmental history, relationships, immigration experiences, traumatic events, abuse, separation, hardship, and current emotional functioning.
2. Psychological Assessment
Standardized psychological measures may be administered to better understand symptoms related to trauma, anxiety, depression, and other areas of psychological functioning. Specialized testing such as the MMPI or TSI may be recommended when clinically appropriate.
3. Review of Supporting Documents
When available and relevant, documents may be reviewed as part of the evaluation, including:

Relevant legal documentation

Other supporting records
4. Comprehensive Written Report
After the evaluation is completed, a formal forensic psychological report is prepared. The report may include clinical history, behavioral observations, psychological testing results, diagnostic impressions, functional impact, clinical formulation, and prognosis when appropriate.
