Jerry is a bilingual Associate Marriage and Family Therapist dedicated to helping individuals and families heal, grow, and live more authentic lives. He earned his Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling with a concentration in Somatic Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco.

Jerry has experience working with clients across the lifespan—including children, adolescents, adults, and older adults—and is deeply committed to supporting BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities. His clinical interests include anxiety, depression, trauma, attachment, family dynamics, relationships, and life transitions.

Grounded in warmth and compassion, Jerry creates a safe and collaborative space where clients can explore both current challenges and past experiences with openness and care. He integrates Psychodynamic, Somatic, Sensorimotor, and Focusing-Oriented Psychotherapy approaches, drawing from both body-based and talk therapy techniques to promote holistic healing and self-awareness.

Jerry views therapy as a shared journey of discovery and transformation. He aims to help clients reconnect with their inner resources, cultivate emotional resilience, and build meaningful change that supports a more balanced and fulfilling life.

Melissa Concepcion

Melissa Conception, ASW, is a bilingual (Spanish/English) Associate Clinical Social Worker based in Cerritos, California. She currently practices under supervision at New Hope Family Counseling Center, where she is dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges with compassion and culturally responsive care.

Melissa earned her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from California State University, Los Angeles, and her Master’s degree in Social Work from California State University, Stanislaus. She has experience working with a diverse range of clients—including children, adolescents, adults, and older adults—across various stages of life.

 

Her clinical specialties include anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and family dynamics. Melissa integrates a strengths-based approach into her work and draws from therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and mindfulness-based strategies. She is committed to creating a supportive and empowering space where clients feel seen, heard, and respected and where they can engage in meaningful personal growth.

Roy Ho

Roy Ho (they/them) is an Associate Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s degree in Social Work from California State University, Dominguez Hills. Their training emphasized social justice, cultural humility, and trauma-informed care—values that continue to guide their work today.

Roy brings experience from a variety of clinical settings, including community mental health, inpatient and intensive treatment programs, and crisis response. As an Asian American therapist who speaks conversational Mandarin, Roy offers a culturally responsive approach and strives to create an affirming, inclusive environment where clients from all backgrounds feel seen, heard, and supported. They are also comfortable integrating English and Mandarin in sessions to deepen connection and understanding.

Grounded in a flexible and client-centered approach, Roy draws from several evidence-based modalities, including Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), insight-oriented therapy, and play therapy. They are additionally trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and may incorporate EMDR-informed techniques when appropriate.

Roy is dedicated to helping clients build self-awareness, resilience, and meaningful change at a pace that feels right for them. They believe in meeting each person with compassion, curiosity, and respect for their unique journey.

Genisis Franco is a graduate of Grand Canyon University, Class of 2022. Genisis is one of our Bilingual therapists (English/Spanish). Genisis offers virtual sessions. Genisis treats individuals who are struggling with depression, adjustment, anxiety, college students, high school students, and individuals who are going through a transition phase. Genisis work in collaboration with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and has an understanding of co-occuring disorders which may be impacting your mental health.
